Farmgal, My high gear mower has a tag on the lid front of the gear box. IIRC it is in the front left as you sit on the seat. The year is cast in the lid gear box on the left and the tag is stamped with month and day and is on the right front. The regular gear mower does not have the tag or the year stamp in this location.
