Buying the used 2005 HAAS TM-1 CNC milling machine was easy. Moving it to our shop was a whole different story. Even though this machine is small enough to be moved around on a standard pallet jack, or a powered pallet jack, the only shippers who know how to deal with it are riggers, and they charge $$$$$.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a new Haas TM-1P this machine has a 7.5 hp motor and max rpm of 6,000. I need a face mill with 40 tool holder. I'm thinking a 2 or perhaps a 2.5" diameter will suffice plus it needs to versatile enough to switch out the inserts to go from ferrous metals to aluminum.

There are three small fuse holders to the left of the breaker in the cabinet. They are in about 1/2" round black holders that are about 1 1/5" long. They are 1/2 amp fuses and if one is out there is a small light next to it that will light. If you have not checked them, start there.
